K48-PLUS is both a remarkable anti-inflammatory
as well as a powerful antioxidant. The anti-inflammatory effects of
K48-PLUS are legendary, producing remarkable results in virtually all
the systems of the body, especially the brain, the joints, the heart,
and the circulatory system.
Omega-3 fatty acids
Omega-3
fatty acids have been shown to significantly reduce the risk for sudden
death caused by cardiac arrhythmia's and all-cause mortality in
patients with known coronary heart disease. Fatty fish, such as salmon
and tuna, and fish oil are rich sources of the omega-3 fatty acids
eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. Flax-seed, canola oil,
and walnuts also are good dietary sources of omega-3 fatty acids. In
addition to being antiarrhythmic, the omega-3 fatty acids are
antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory. In contrast, omega-6 fatty acids,
which are present in most seeds, vegetable oils, and meat, are
prothrombotic and proinflammatory. Omega-3 fatty acids also are used to
treat hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and rheumatoid arthritis. There are
no significant drug interactions with omega-3 fatty acids.
The American Heart Association recommends consumption of two servings
of fish per week for persons with no history of coronary heart disease
and at least one serving of fish daily for those with known coronary
heart disease. Approximately 1 g per day of eicosapentaenoic acid plus
docosahexaenoic acid is recommended for cardio-protection. Higher
dosages of omega-3 fatty acids are required to reduce elevated
triglyceride levels (2 to 4 g per day) and to reduce morning stiffness
and the number of tender joints in patients with rheumatoid arthritis
(at least 3 g per day). Modest decreases in blood pressure occur with
significantly higher dosages of omega-3 fatty acids.(Am Fam Physician

Three reasons why K48-PLUS is much better than a fish oil product
K48-PLUS is already attached to phospholipids making it 70 to 100
times more easily absorbed by your body. It is for this reason that you
shouldn’t compare the milligrams of omega-3s in K48-PLUS with those in a
fish oil product. To do so is like comparing apples to pomegranates. To
put it bluntly, what good is 500mg of omega-3s like EPA and DHA if your
body can’t absorb them? Of course the reality is that your body can
absorb some of the omega-3s in fish oil, thus giving you some benefits
(as proven by a lot of omega-3 research), but it gets nowhere near what
your body can get from K48-PLUS. This is why the research states: “At
lower and equal doses, krill oil was significantly more effective than
fish oil.” (Altern Med Rev 2004;9(4):420-428)
K48-PLUS has a naturally-occurring antioxidant body guard called
astaxanthin that keeps it from going rancid as quickly as fish oil does.
The astaxanthin itself is also an anti-inflammatory and a powerful
antioxidant that can pass the blood brain barrier and help your brain
and eyes.
Phosphatidylcholine
is one of the valuable phospholipids found in abundance in K48-PLUS.
And it is in a very natural, minimally-processed form using no heat
extraction, which damages the delicate phosphatidylcholine. A bottle of
K48-PLUS is over 78% phosphatidylcholine. Every cell in your body needs
phosphatidylcholine, and every nerve in your body communicates with
neurotransmitters that contain “choline.” The research on
phosphatidylcholine alone is extremely compelling for a wide spectrum of
conditions.
"I
have suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for 20 years. As the pain,
inflammation, and damage has increased, I have been running out of
medication options. One of my last resources was to be some very
expensive and risky medications, which, even with insurance, I simply
could not afford. In early June I became very ill with sinus infections
and a persistent cough. No matter which antibiotics the doctors gave me,
I still remained ill. Finally, at the beginning of August I went to a
specialist and we prepared for surgery. A week later, I called my
rheumatologist to see about getting off the medications, since they were
immune-suppressants. He told me to get off them immediately, which I
did. In the meantime on August 3rd I began taking K48-PLUS. My
rheumatologist thought it would be fine. Within 3-4 weeks as the
medications withdrew from my body and the K48-PLUS took over, I felt
little pain and no swelling. When I saw my doctor on September 16th, he
was amazed to see that the inflammation had gone down to such minimal
amounts. He said I was going into remission."
